Training for the D-schein practical exam

This is informal training; it is not an official / professional sailing lesson.

Fixed crew for the whole training. 

Training plan:

• Rigging check
• Knots
• Sailing all points of sail with proper trim
• Course holding on a specified heading
• Tacking
• Gybing
• Man-overboard recovery
• Buoy pick-up/drop
• Maneuvering in confined spaces
• Reefing
• Heave-to

Possible dates below, to be fixed after the crew is formed. At least 4 sessions, at least 16 hours in total. Indicatively 12:00 – 17:00.

• April 4^th (Saturday or Sunday / Easter weekend)
• April 6^th (Easter Monday)
• April 18^th or 19^th (Saturday or Sunday)
• April 25^th or 26^th (Saturday or Sunday)
• May 1^st (Friday / Saturday or Sunday)

Locations: Zürichsee and possibly also other Swiss lakes depending on what we decide together.

Cost: approximately 160 – 200 CHF depending on total hours, crew size, locations, cancellations for bad weather
