Shoggi Cup – ZLC Season Opener

Join us for the Shoggi Cup, the classic opening race of the Zürichsee Langstrecken Cup. It’s a great way to kick off the sailing season with a mix of fun racing, good vibes, and (as tradition goes) some well-earned chocolate at the finish.

The race is accessible to everyone—whether you’re keen to race properly or just want to enjoy a day on the lake with a motivated crew.

For now, we have two confirmed skippers: Andy and Annette, who are happy to take people on board. With that setup, we can host up to 6 crew members (plus the 2 skippers).

We’re also working on getting two more skippers, which would open up more spots—so chances are good that more of you will be able to join. Stay tuned for updates!

? Costs: usually around CHF 80 per person, but this will be confirmed depending on the individual skipper’s costs. This includes boat rental and regatta registration (boat + crew).

After the race, there is usually a very nice apéro and prize-giving ceremony, with grill and beers for whoever wants to stay and enjoy the evening together.
