The plan is to take, on Thursday, a brand new (2024) Jeanneau 41 from Caorle and sail it into Venice (some 30nn due west). The marina is a little gem on San Giorgio island. Then, the plan for the next couple of days is: no plan. There are events, expositions, shows... we ll see what sounds best. Just bring your costume and dive in the crowd.
Saturday night we are invited to join the Compagnia della Vela in their Carnival Party in their stunning club house.
Sunday at sunrise we ll say goodbye to Venice and sail back to Caorle. Transport-wise I ll catch a train from Zurich to Caorle but, I know there s a reasonably priced flight from Swiss.
Regarding the sleeping arrangements: there are 3 cabins in this owner-layout. So the master cabin will be assigned after the usual duel with pistols (provided by the charter). The servants will need to share cabins so please, a little flexibility. WhatsApp me for details.
Cheers, Dario

Navigation theory session. More practice than theory, the actual passage plan for our May Cross Channel trip.
We are doing two evenings, both the same, 10th and 17th March.
Ideal for anyone thinking about doing RYA Coastal / Offshore Skipper (this is often the passage RYA asks you to prepare). Equally useful for other skipper courses.
Or for anyone generally interested in coastal / offshore navigation.
Read the detailed description so you know what its about!
We can either meet in Horgen or you can join me for a drive. Tomorrow is sunny and windy... but maybe still cold. The contribution per person is 35 chf . Cheers
The second of two. Back by popular demand, it's the same as the first evening held on 10 March.
