ZISC is Going to the Movies

In partnership with the International Ocean Film Tour, ZISC will support a movie night in celebration of our shared passion for the world’s waterways at the annual festival featuring films about our beloved seas.

Ocean lovers will be able to dive into five new 2025 award-winning short films, which every year consistently provides chills and thrills as well as serenity and surprises to audiences throughout the globe.

Tickets bought in bulk for five people or more receive a 5 CHF discount per ticket -- instead of 29.50 CHF, each entry will cost 24.50 CHF. Therefore, we suggest gathering friends to buy at the bulk rate. Since this is a public event, attendees outside of ZISC are also welcomed.

There is an open seating arrangement, so we will need a few volunteers to help reserve rows of seats if people intend to sit together. In years past, our group has occupied the first few rows of the balcony.

The event is expected to last approx. 2.5 - 3 hours, including an introduction, moderation, raffle prizes and the film portion of the program is a total length of around 130 minutes with a 30-minute break in between (providing another opportunity to visit with fellow club members).

Starting at 18:00, prior to the event kickoff, ZISC members can gather for pre-show drinks/food at the Volkshaus bar/restaurant next door to the auditorium entry. This is assured to be a full evening of exciting engagement, entertainment and education.
