VHF Radio Course

This is the RYA VHF Radio course and assessment.

An exclusive ZISC only, one day course here in Zurich, at the end of the day you have the RYA VHF Certificate.

Time: 08:30-18:00

Location: Gemeinschaftszentrum Höngg, Limmattalstrasse, 8049

Cost: CHF299 per person

Taught in English (the langauage most of your radio comms will be in).

Many reasons to do this course...

- in many countries it’s a legal requirement to have a licence to operate the VHF radio (eg UK, Croatia and others). 
- ⁠Chartering: although it’s mostly Croatia (in Europe) that insists on seeing the licence, other countries do ask 
- Skipper licences: it’s needed for Yachtmaster Coastal, Swiss Hochseeschein and German SKS. This course is valid for all of them
- ⁠Lastly how comfortable are you using the radio and do you understand the radio protocol / terminology to use
